A patient is presented who developed a renal arteriovenous fistula as a result of a percuta-neous nephrolithotomy procedure.This was successfully treated with the pereutaneous,intra-arterial insertion of vein covered 6 mm Pahnaz stents.The advantage of this technique is the preservation ofnormal renal parenehyma otherwise lost using intra-arterial embolization or surgery.
