少年红(Ardisia alyxiacfolia Tsiang)系紫金牛科(Myrsinaceae),紫金牛属(Ardisia)植物,其总皂甙部分具有一定的平喘作用。经用硅胶干柱层析法从总皂甙部分分离出一个纯皂甙——皂甙Ⅱ。兔子被动皮肤过敏试验证明皂甙Ⅱ有抑制免疫球蛋白E(IgE)形成的作用,作用强度与总皂甙相仿。 皂甙Ⅱ用4.5％硫酸在100℃封管条件下水解,甙元部分分离得到二个三萜类化合物, Ardisia alyxiacfolia Tsiang is a Myrsinaceae and Ardisia plant, and its total saponin has a certain anti-asthmatic effect. A pure saponin, saponin II, was isolated from the total saponin fraction by silica gel dry column chromatography. Passive skin anaphylaxis test in rabbits demonstrated that saponin II inhibits the formation of immunoglobulin E (IgE), and its effect is similar to that of total saponin. Saponin II was hydrolyzed with 4.5% sulfuric acid at 100°C, and a triterpenoid compound was isolated from the aglycone.
