美国两大报系公司最近决定放弃对电子报纸的实验。电子报纸这个新尝试,前途发展暂时尚不乐观。“时报——镜报公司”与“奈特——芮德公司”公开宣布,他们已决定放弃电子报纸的发展。其主要原因是广大消费者对这种传播方式,兴趣并不大。所谓电子报纸,就是利用电脑或电视荧光屏,把新闻和多种资料,直接传送给订户,以代替传统性的报纸,可是这两大公司在实验性推广活动中,始终无法获得足够 The two major newspapers companies in the United States recently decided to abandon their experiments with electronic newspapers.
