为了尽快地选育出工业原料用的高干率、高淀粉、高产量甘薯新品种,采用简单、快速又准确地测定干率和淀粉含量的方法,以求在育种早期世代中尽快地创造高干率的亲本材料和从大量的初级材料中筛选出高干、高淀粉的新品种(系),这是甘薯高淀粉育种中急需解决的问题。许多兄弟省市农科院(所)在这方面做了不少研究,如干率的测定上,有用切片或刨丝直接烘干法,有采用抽气比重法等;对淀粉含量的测定,一般都用化学滴定法,但尚未达到简单而快速测定的要求。我们从1978年开始对甘薯干率和淀粉含量的测定方法,进行了多方面的探讨,现将取得的结果报道如下:
