本文列举了对托圈及其支承连接装置在功能与效能上的要求;针对旧式托圈等存在的问题,对比分析了180吨转炉托圈采用整体焊接、三点铰式支承、通水冷却结构的特点;着重阐述了采用上吊式铰式支承可适应炉体胀缩需要,消除托圈的附加应力及采用通水冷却降低托圈内外腹板温差,减少热应力,从而改善托圈受力状况,消除诸多导致托圈损坏的因素,延长了托圈使用寿命等问题。
