木雕艺术,源远流长,但随着时代的进步,社会的需求,以及人们审美观念的变化,木雕艺术的创作正面临着如何从形式美到艺术美的发展课题。最近,杭州西博会所展示的东阳木雕和黄杨木雕艺术,给我们提供了新的探索内容。历经近十年的变化,我们看到了东阳木雕充满着生机勃勃的希冀和曙光,艺术家们以自己独具的技艺和特点,综合地展示了木雕的装饰艺术美,作品超越了原有的局限,“云龙花瓶”、“人像浮雕”、“农家小景”、“诗情风光”、“古代人物”、“树林即景”等作品,在题材、造型、技巧等方面果断地摆脱了程式化的统一格局,都给人以新的感受、新的概念,
The art of woodcarving has a long history, but with the progress of the times, the needs of the society and the changes of people’s aesthetic conception, the creation of woodcarving art is facing the developmental issue of how to proceed from formal beauty to artistic beauty.
