紧凑型玉米是国内外育种工作者为提高玉米的光合效率,开展“株型”育种研究而选育的增产明显的玉米品种。1987年我们在锦州市开始引种试种,1989年参加市区域试验,1992年大面积推广。目前已经引进我地区的紧凑型玉米品种有掖单13号、掖单11号、掖单19号、掖单2号等。其中掖单13号玉米新杂交种1992～1996年累计在我地区种植面积已达261.28万亩,平均比丹玉13号亩增产92.2公斤,增产率19.30%,五年共增产玉米24090万公
Compact maize is a maize variety that is bred by the breeders at home and abroad to increase the photosynthetic efficiency of maize and to carry out the research of “plant type” breeding. In 1987, we started to introduce and test seedlings in Jinzhou City. In 1989, we took part in the test of the city area and popularized it in 1992. At present, the compact corn varieties that have been introduced to our region are Yedan No. 13, Yedan No. 11, Yedan No. 19, Yedan No. 2 and so on. The Yedan No. 13 new hybrid corn from 1992 to 1996 accumulated in my area has reached 261.28 million mu of cultivated area, an average of 92.2 kilograms more than Dan Yu 13 acres, an increase of 19.30%, five years, a total of 240.9 million hectares of corn production
