Percutaneous balloon dilation and endovascular stenting are emerging as a treatment method in recent years, which can avoid the disadvantages of surgical trauma, multiple complications and high mortality. However, the incidence of postoperative restenosis or occlusion is high, reaching 30% within one year, thus limiting the clinical application and development of this technique [1]. The aim of this experiment is to investigate the role of locally transduced vascular endothelial cell growth factor (VEGF) gene in promoting endothelial and endothelial formation at scaffolds and vascular lesions and its role in the prevention and treatment of restenosis.
