保健费用的控制主要取决于医院费用的控制。在法国,医院费用正在不断上升。1960～1984年,医院费用占总保健费用的比重,由30%上升到51%在与保健费用增加有关的许多因素中,技术的发展显然是个决定性因素。由于医院需要大量引进新的技术,因而控制好新技术开发和利用是很重要的。1982年,作者创立了一种对新技术进行评价的制度,称之 CEDIT(新技术采用评价委员会)。该会在法国首先试行对医疗技术的评价。
The control of health care costs depends mainly on the control of hospital costs. In France, hospital costs are rising. From 1960 to 1984, the proportion of hospital expenses in total health care costs rose from 30% to 51%. Among the many factors related to the increase in health care costs, the development of technology is obviously a decisive factor. Since hospitals need to introduce a large number of new technologies, it is important to control the development and use of new technologies. In 1982, the author created a system for evaluating new technologies, called CEDIT (New Technology Adoption Evaluation Committee). The first trial of medical technology was conducted in France.
