今年初,日本通户省决定研制划时代的癌症诊断系统,利用微电子技术及生物技术(生物工程),从受检验者的血液中,短时间内能查出只有癌细胞才产生出来的蛋白质,以便能在癌细胞发生发展之初,即行发现。这个系统如研制成功,对于肝脏、胰脏、胆囊等部位癌症的诊断,将发生巨大的威力,因这些部位的癌症,用 X线摄影、内窥镜等手段均难以发现。如与 C.T.(超声波断层扫描装置)等图象诊断仪器结合,则各类型的癌症普查成为可能,有望进一步提高癌的早期诊断率。目前癌的诊断多使用 X 摄影、活检、
