Objective To explore the impact of anesthesia nurse-led anesthetic management in operating theaters. Methods A total of 200 patients undergoing surgery in our hospital in 2016 were selected randomly and used as the anesthesia nurse-led management model in the observation group. In our operating room in 2014, anesthesiologist-led narcotic management was adopted in our operating room and 200 patients undergoing surgery in our operating room were randomly selected as the control group. The anesthesia time, the rate of consumption of narcotic drugs and the satisfaction of the operating room doctors were compared between the two groups. Results The anesthesia time and consumption rate of narcotic drugs in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. The satisfaction degree of the doctors in the observation group was significantly greater than that of the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). Conclusion The anesthesia nurse-led management of narcotic drugs can shorten the time of anesthesia, reduce the rate of consumption of narcotic drugs and improve the success rate of surgery.
