By using the method of horizontal starch gel electrophoresis, 20 enzymes in the muscle sample of 185 Lucania are studied. Among them 4 are not analysed on account of the unreliable scoring, 6 are monomorphie, 10 are polymorphic. A total of 13 loci and 31 alleles have been studied. Allelic frequencies, genetic similarity coefficients and genetic distances are calculated. Clustered analysis is also made. It is found that the observed specimens belong to two species (L. parva and L. goodei). Electrophoretic study indicates that there is no geographical or sexual differences.
