Methods: Seventy-two children with Tourette’s syndrome admitted to our hospital from February 2012 to February 2014 were divided into observation group (n = 42) and control group (n = 30) according to the random number table method. The curative effect of three months after treatment was compared between the two groups. Yale tic and tactile tonic scale (YGTSS) before and after treatment and two groups of adverse reactions were compared. Results: The total effective rate of observation group was (95.24%) significantly higher than that of control group (76.67%) (P <0.05). Compared with symptom score of YGTSS before treatment, (P> 0.05). After treatment, the symptom scores of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P <0.05). After treatment, the patients in the observation group Children in the control group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). During the treatment period, two children in the control group developed mild drowsiness, fatigue and dizziness, but they still persisted until the end of treatment.
