简笔画在英语教学中有着不可忽视的作用.恰当地使用简笔画能使课堂活跃,使学生的注意力高度集中,从而起到事半功倍的效果.简笔画的用途概括起来可分为三点:一、加强教学效果在课堂利用简笔画为所讲述的内容提供情景,学生在边看边听课中,不但能迅速理解教师所讲内容,而且能通过看图说话提高运用语言的能力,从而加强教学效果.例如在义务教材初中第一册第34课中,我们可在黑板上画两个长相一样的女孩(如图1)来教学下面一些句子:They are in Miss Gao’s class.Their names are Lilyand Lucy.They are twins.They are new. Stick figure in English teaching has a non-negligible role.Appropriate use of stick figure can make the classroom active, so that students focus more attention, which play a multiplier effect.Simplified strokes can be summed up in three points: one , To enhance the teaching effectiveness of the use of stick figures in the classroom to provide content for the content described, students watching while listening to lectures, not only can quickly understand the content of the teacher, but also can improve the ability to use language by looking at pictures to enhance teaching effectiveness For example, in Lesson 34, Volume One of the compulsory textbook, we can teach the following sentences by drawing two identical girls on the blackboard (Figure 1): They are in Miss Gao’s class.
