Yellow River Geological Team was formally established in 1956, a total of more than 100 people, they are distributed in the Yellow River tributaries. Geological team mostly for 20-year-old boy, holding a hammer in hand, waist with a compass, back a big backpack, climbed from the hills to another hill every day, working really like a bunch of tigers. They lay down specimens on the steep walls, recount the faults in the lush vegetation and ascertain the direction of faults and the cementation of faults. In order to choose excellent reservoir dam site, they carefully identify joints, weathering and faults along the river bank, providing designers with real data.
