长白山西坡在吉林省抚松县境内,旅游资源非常丰富。我们从松江河东行,绕过龙头山、马鞍山,通过白西河,进入一望无际的原始森林。此时风景这边正好,万山红遍,层林尽染,森林内高树蔽日,蒿草覆地,倒木横卧,树根裸露,古藤缠绕,一派原始森林的原始风貌。长白山西坡的海拔地势呈垂直状态,由海拔800多米在短短的几十公里内提高到海拔2000多米。人们在平地上几千公里,用多半年时间才能看到林带变化,在长白山西路几个小时就可以观察到。由针阔混交林带,针叶林带、岳桦林带、高山苔原带组成了4个垂直观赏带,植被及气候变化非常明显。到了山顶便是春秋相连,没有夏季,最高温度6～7摄氏度。

From the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest belt, coniferous forest belt, Yue birch forest belt, alpine tundra belt composed of four vertical ornamental belt, vegetation and climate change is very obvious. To the top of the mountain is connected to the spring and autumn, there is no summer, the maximum temperature of 6 to 7 degrees Celsius.
