The exhibition featured works by Gong Xian, including more than 30 calligraphies and paintings of famous calligraphers and calligraphers of the 17th century such as Hu Yukun, Gao Cen, Lv Qian, Wu Hong, Charles Shih, Fan Xuan, Wang Duo and He Cai. Gong Xian is the representative of Jinling School, ranking first in the “Eight Jinling”, is a Nanjing painter who has an important influence on Chinese painting in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty.
