变质岩中石榴石显微镜下以高正突起和全消光为鉴定特征。为了验证岩石薄片鉴定结果的准确性,往往是利用X射线粉晶衍射技术进行比对分析,如果岩石中石榴石含量小于1%,X射线粉晶衍射方法则无法检出。本次研究是利用电子探针波谱技术对矿物主量元素进行分析,通过所测样品微区化学成分含量推测矿物名称,25件样品微区化学成分分析结果统计显示:样品中主要化学成分含量:Fe O为27.51%~32.58%、Mn O为3.08%~6.33%、Al2O3为18.84%~20.25%、Si O2为34.81%~36.75%;次要成分含量:Ca O为1.59%~2.94%、Mg O为1.43%~2.12%、Cr2O3为0.00%~1.44%、Na2O为0.00%~0.24%;总量为93.20%~96.72%。化学成分与铁铝石榴石组分相当,可以确定所测样品为铁铝石榴石。
Metamorphic rocks in the garnet microscope with high positive projections and extinction for the identification of features. In order to verify the accuracy of the identification results of rock slices, X-ray powder diffraction is often used for comparison analysis. If the rock garnet content is less than 1%, the X-ray powder diffraction method can not be detected. This study is the use of electronic probe spectroscopy to analyze the main elements of minerals, speculated by the measured chemical content of the micro-area of the mineral name of the sample, the chemical composition of 25 micro-area analysis of the statistical results show: the main chemical components of the sample: FeO is 27.51% ~ 32.58%, MnO is 3.08% ~ 6.33%, Al2O3 is 18.84% ~ 20.25%, Si O2 is 34.81% ~ 36.75%; minor components are CaO 1.59% ~ 2.94%, Mg O is from 1.43% to 2.12%, Cr2O3 is from 0.00% to 1.44%, Na2O is from 0.00% to 0.24%, and the total amount is from 93.20% to 96.72%. The chemical composition is comparable to that of the Fe-Al garnet, which confirms that the measured sample is Fe-Al garnet.
