以构造层次的观点剖析了乌拉山塑性变形构造、韧性剪切带和脆性断裂构造的特征及其演化,认为东西向浅层次的脆性断裂——山前大断裂是乌拉山金矿的导矿构造,其后期(加里东—海西)活动派生的近东西向呈右行雁列的一组剪切断裂是容矿构造,并认为容矿断裂是经历了先压后张2个阶段的脆性断裂。
