学过图书、档案发展史的人一定了解敦煌遗书。所谓敦煌遗书,泛指敦煌藏经洞(莫高窟第17窟)等处发现的经卷和文书等文献资料。这些文献资料中时代最早的有纪年的卷子是前秦甘露元年(359年),最晚的是北宋景德三年(1006年),其间跨越了差不多七个世纪。其内容涉及的范围也相当广泛,宗教、政治、经济、军事、哲学、文学、民族、民俗、语言、历法、数学、医学、占卜、及中外文化交流等各个方面,几乎无所不包,是研究我国和中亚历史难得的文献。由于全部遗书都是印刷术发达以前的写本和早期刻本,包括迄今发现的世界上最早的印刷品之一——公元868年刻的《金刚经》,故弥足珍贵,堪称举世无双的文化瑰宝!
Students who have studied the history of books and archives must understand Dunhuang suicide note. The so-called Dunhuang suicide note, refers to Dunhuang Cangjing Cave (Cave 17 Cave) and other documents found by the volume and instruments and other documents.
