中学教材中讲碳族时总要提到金刚石,但是,在1979年版本高中第一册化学第174页中写道:“金刚石晶体里,每个碳原子都被相邻的四个碳原子包围,处于四个碳原子的中心,以共价键跟这四个碳原子结合,成为正四面体结构……”。而在1982年版本初中化学全一册第101页中却又写道:“纯净的金刚石是一种无色透明的、正八面体形状的固体,……”。金刚石到底是四面体还是八面体?有人产生这样的疑问,本文想结合回答这个问题对金刚石作一简单介绍。
When talking about carbon in high school textbooks, diamonds are always mentioned. However, in the 1979 edition of the first edition of Chemistry, the chemistry of the first book was written on page 174: “In a diamond crystal, every carbon atom is adjacent to four carbon atoms. Surrounded, in the center of four carbon atoms, covalently bonded to these four carbon atoms to form a tetrahedral structure...”. In the 1982 edition of Junior Middle School Chemistry, a book was written on page 101: “Pure diamond is a colorless, transparent, octahedron-shaped solid, ...”. Is diamond exactly a tetrahedron or an octahedron? Someone has such questions. This article would like to give a brief introduction to diamonds in conjunction with answering this question.
