Objective To explore the relationship between occupational and recreational physical activities and other risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Methods The data of epidemiological survey of diabetes in Guangdong Province in 1997 and 1998 were used to analyze the relationship between occupational and recreational physical activities of different intensity classes and other risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Results There was a difference in sex distribution between urban and rural areas for occupational and recreational physical activities. Men were more likely to be exposed to risk factors for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases than men. Age, gender, urban and rural areas, education level, total household income and occupational physical strength After the activity (or leisure physical activity), with the increase of occupational physical activity intensity, the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease risk factors (smoking outside) decreased. The strength of leisure physical activity and risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease were not Obvious contact. Conclusion The lack of occupational physical activity can increase the risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
