随着我国医疗制度的改革和大众自我保健意识的增强,“大病上医院,小病进药房”已成为一种时尚,非处方药悄然走进千家万户。 非处方药英文名称为over thecounter,简称OTC,直译过来就是在柜台上买到的药。病家不需要医生的处方,可以直接在超市或药店里买到这类药品,使轻微疾病与慢性病能及时得到治愈或缓解。非处方药制度早已在许多国家建立,据统计,世界上约有40%的药物属于自我用药范围。目前日本的OTC药约有3000种,德国有2614种,英国有917种,而美国则多达数十万种。
