１９９２～１９９５年对五莲县松柏乡王家口子村８ｈｍ２密植苹果园的间作物，进行了“五作四收”立体种植研究。结果表明，试验园苹果树定植的当年即可收回果园的全部投资，并且每公顷盈利２７０６８．８元。试验园２ａ平均一级果率９６．８％，平均单果重２３６．８ｇ，果实着色指数７３．８％，可溶性固形物含量７８．７％。试验园４ａ平均每公顷纯收入２７４１７．３５元，是４ａ平均每年每公顷投资（８８１８．５元）的３．１１倍；比对照园平均每公顷纯收入高１８３７６．５５元，是对照园投资（６３６７元）的４．３１倍。其产投比比对照园高１．７倍，效益显著。
From 1992 to 1995, the intercropping of 8hm2 close planting apple orchard in Wangjiakouzi Village, Songbai Township, Wulian County was carried out. The results show that the pilot plantation of apple trees that can recover the full orchard investment, and profits per hectare 27068.8 yuan. The average first-order fruit rate of test garden 2a was 96.8%, the average fruit weight was 236.8g, the fruit color index was 73.8% and the soluble solid content was 78.7%. The average net income per hectare of experimental garden 4a is 27,417.35 yuan, which is 3.11 times of the average annual investment of 4a (8818.5 yuan) per year 4a. The average net income per hectare is 18,376.55 yuan higher than that of the control garden, (6367 yuan) 4.31 times. Its production and investment ratio of 1.7 times higher than the control garden, significant benefits.
