The second part of the introduction to broadband dual-channel directional systems discusses the multi-head spiral former. Firstly, the unsymmetrical circuit was reviewed. Then, the symmetrical Millican and Shelton circuit was reviewed. The Millican circuit was analyzed in detail. The coupling and phase shift characteristics of the common circuit were given. Next, the formation of the beam is explained. In the section on synthesis and design of various couplers, phase shifters and power splitters, a brief reference on the practical design of modelers and beamformers at microwave frequencies is outlined. Subsequently, in the actual design considerations section gives some of the actual system in the material and layout of a few ideas. Finally, this article concludes with a M2 test antenna pattern measured at a bandwidth ratio of 50: 1.
