我把家里的电视机、录像机搬到了街上,在西四街与第六大道的夹角处的便道上我们反复播放着过去几天录制编辑的各大主要电视台新闻中关于林琳遇害的新闻,我们分头向路人募捐,来帮助他的家人。那几天,我们全部停止工作,投入了为林琳伸张正义的活动中去了。九月十八日我们与亚裔反暴力联盟联手组织了游行示威,我们从在东四十六街第八大道的梅尔福德酒店门前出发,一路我们手执横幅标语,左边长长一队警察摩托车开道守护。我们来到位于曼哈顿中城最东侧的市警察局门口对面,在场的中国画家中有许多我亲近的朋友:郝兵,
I moved my home TV and video recorder onto the street.
