In the storage space with a storage capacity of 7,000 t, a fumigation room with a height of 7.50 m and a diameter of 300 mm was set up at a height of 7.50m, 5.61m, 3.74m, 1.87m and 0.1m respectively. From 0.10m , 3.74m and 7.50m respectively. The insecticidal effect of ethyl formate on adults of Tribolium castaneum (Herbst) and Rhyzopertha dominica (Fabricius) at different heights was determined. The results showed that ethyl formate was completely lethal to the test insects near the application point at the height of 0.10m, while the mortality rate at the height of 1.87m and above was significantly lower than that of the application point. At the height of 3.74 m, the mortality of the pesticides and the following two pests was significantly higher than that of the pesticides above the pesticide application point. The mortality of all the pests infected with 3.74 m and below was completely Rate appeared at 0.1m at 100%, 1.87m and 3.74m at only 96.7% and 81% respectively. After spraying at the height of 7.50m, the mortality rate of pests at the height of 0.10m reached 100%, and the mortality rate of pests decreased from bottom to top. The experiment showed that as a fumigant, ethyl formate was spread in the static state and the effective insecticidal height was less than 2m under the static condition. The main spreading trend was downward movement (sinking) Pests below the drug point better effect, the proposed space to take drugs to promote the uniform distribution of drugs to take measures.
