Preface: The deepening of the research on the theory of adult education sociology is an important prerequisite for building a sound academic framework. With the continuous development of education in our country at this stage, the research on the sociology theory of adult education has achieved some success in development, but there are still some problems such as deviation of research orientation and outdated research methods. Therefore, it is very important to clarify the research status of sociology theory in adult education and to rebuild the theoretical system of sociology of adult education.
