Our scientists discovered through the study of liquid metal, which swallowed the phagocytosis of peripheral particles by phagocytes and swallowed the surrounding particles efficiently. This surprising discovery opens up a new way to construct high-performance nano-metal fluid materials. Liquid metal refers to metals that can remain liquid at room temperature, such as gallium indium alloys. Research Institute of Physics and Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University team found that liquid metal droplets in solution environment, when subjected to electric field or chemical substances, will produce endocytic effects similar to the phagocytosis of external particles.
