早些年,自行车、缝纫机和手表曾经是体现中国人身价的“三大件儿”。青年导演王小帅拍的《十七岁的单车》,叙说的就是关于那个年代的动人故事。在电影里,自行车是青春美好而残酷的象征……星移斗转,时世变迁。正是这小小的自行车承载着中国人走进了21世纪,走进了小康时代。如今的中国又成为电动自行车占有量最大的国度,正当人们潇洒地骑着电动自行车穿过大街小巷时,传来了这样的消息:2006年11月5日起,广州全面禁止电动车上路;2007年1月1日起,电动车在沈阳12条主要街路禁行;常州市不再给电动车上牌,无牌车禁止上路,有牌车5年使用到期后报废……标准不一,管理混乱,电动车该何去何从?
