《高级英语》的课程目标要求学生不仅要透彻读懂这些原始英文,而且要能够欣赏文章的语言艺术,还要理解其中的文化内涵。这就给英专学生在学习这门课程时提出了如下三大挑战:理解艰深的文字表达,透析背后的文化内涵,欣赏其中的语言艺术。而这三点其实表里相连,互为臂助。作者认为,如借助英国两位著名语言学家Prof.Martin Cortazzi(the University of Warwick)和Dr.Lixian Jin.(De Montfort University)共同提出的“5C”语篇分析理论,在《高级英语》的教学中,则会对上述挑战势如破竹,三难并解。
“Advanced English” course objectives require students not only to thoroughly understand these original English, but also to appreciate the language art of the article, but also to understand the cultural connotation. This gives the college students the following three major challenges in their study of this course: Understanding difficult texts, analyzing the cultural connotations behind dialysis, and appreciating the language arts. In fact, these three points are connected, helping each other. The author thinks that if we use the “5C” discourse analysis theory proposed by two famous English linguists, Prof. Martin Cortazzi (the University of Warwick) and Dr.Lixian Jin. (De Montfort University), in “Advanced English ”Teaching, will be on the verge of abuse of these challenges, the three difficulties and solutions.
