[Objective] To explore the role of serum glycosylated low-density lipoprotein and oxidized low-density lipoprotein in T2DM complicated with lower extremity vascular lesions, and to show that it is also important to treat with antiglycosis and anti-oxidant in the prevention and treatment of vascular diseases. [Method] The serum, glycosylated low density lipoprotein and oxidized low density lipoprotein were measured in 178 diabetics and 60 control subjects (healthy physical examination). Serum GLDL was determined by nitrotetrazolium chloride colorimetry, Plasma OXLDL was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. [Results] ① Serum levels of glycosylated low-density lipoprotein (0.396 ± 0.079) mmol / L in type 2 diabetic patients were significantly higher than those in normal controls (0.266 ± 0.072) mmol / L, 58.266 ± 24.203) μg / dl was significantly higher than that of the control group (33.349 ± 8.340μg / dl, P <0.01) .②Serum level of glycosylated low density lipoprotein 0.415 ± 0.073) mmol / L, which was significantly higher than that of non-vascular disease group (0.372 ± 0.084) mmol / L and GLDL (59.017 ± 24.854 μg / dl) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and type 2 diabetes mellitus (48.356 ± 24.429) μg / dl, there was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.01) .③The serum level of glycosylated low density lipoprotein in patients with type 2 diabetes was positively correlated with plasma oxidized low density lipoprotein (r = 0.712, P <0.01). [Conclusion] Glycosylated low density lipoprotein, oxidized low density lipoprotein and type 2 diabetes mellitus are associated with lower extremity vascular lesions.
