In the October 2001 issue, I wrote an article titled Never Too Old to Plant Trees, introducing a 65-year-old woman from thesuburbs of Beijing who, in 18 years, planted millions of trees on the barren mountains near her home. Shortly after thepublishing of that article, I received an e-mail from The British Coast Productions Limited Company. It said this:
