留守儿童是新时期社会发展中特别需要关爱的群体。被留守的孩子脆弱的心灵无奈地承受着思念父母的苦楚,同时也面临着家庭教育缺失、监管不力、健康状况堪忧、安全问题突出、生活习惯懒散、学习成绩偏低、心理沟通障碍、生活迷茫等严重影响自身健康成长的问题。中国社会的进步与发展,归根结底是人的发展——在发展的进程中,决不能忽视被留守的孩子们。学校应该承担更多的让孩子健康成长的责任,作为教育工作者,依托中学生思想品德课程,给予被留守的孩子更多的人
