Should parents be banned from entering campus?
Recently, campus security has become a hot issue. To ensure security, strangers are banned from entering campus by our school, and a survey has been made among the students about whether parents should be included.
According to the survey, 60% of the students think parents should be included because it is a rule everyone should obey. Another 25% subscribe to the view that there is no need for the ban as their beloved parents couldn’t be a danger to anyone. However, the rest think the guard can make a proper decision depending on certain situations.
Personally, I agree with the first. As the saying goes, to forestall is better than to amend. Proper measures should be taken before it’s too late. As for parents, they have some other ways to keep in touch with their children, like making calls or asking for teachers’ help. All in all, campus security calls for everyone’s concern and cooperation.

My dear classmates
There is no denying that safety plays an important part in our daily life. Recently our school has carried out a program aimed at making our campus a safe place to stay on.
I consider this as indeed a good practice, which will make us aware that safety should always come first in our daily life, whether when we stay at school or outside it. When we are doing sports, we should attach importance to the safety and avoid being hurt. Furthermore, when we get into trouble with our classmates, we should remain calm and avoid any form of fighting, which may only bring suffering and pain to us mentally and physically.
As far as I’m concerned, I feel all the students and teachers should work hard and creatively to keep the “safety at school” activity in mind. Besides, we supposed to observe the law discipline where we are at any moment.

How to build an economized society
To build an economized society, we must keep the following points in our mind.
Firstly, make sure that the lights and the electric fans are turned off when there is no one in the room. Set the room temperature at above 26℃. Remember to turn off the computer when you are not using it. Secondly, try to form the habit of turning off the tap after it is used. Use basins when washing faces or vegetables. Thus the water can be used again to clean toilets or water flowers. Thirdly, it will be good enough for us to use a basket instead of a plastic bag when go to the market. Because a basket can be used again many more times.

So to build a resources-saving campus it is high time that we had to deal with the problems. In my opinion, we should start with ourselves to save everything. I’d like to remind my classmates to take the lead in reducing the waste. We must form some good habits. For example, when we brush our teeth and wash hands, never leave water running unnecessarily and when we leave classrooms, we should make sure that the lights have been turned off.

While this allows the teacher to get across a large amount of information in a short amount of time, it tends to be rather boring for students. On the other hand, student-centered classes involve the students, which improves learning and aids memory. While this kind of class can be very demanding for a student, it is, by far, much more interesting than a teacher-centered class.
Therefore, I prefer a student-centered class. Not only is it more interesting than a teacher-centered class, but it is also more efficient.

The global financial crisis broke out in 2008, which caused serious economic slide and increased job loss. What can we learn from it?
First, we should put all our heart into study to broaden our knowledge in various fields. Second, it is required that we should develop our abilities in many ways and improve our personal qualities to achieve our goals in this highly competitive society. Next, learning to cooperate with others is another thing we must do, because sense of teamwork contributes to success more quickly. Last but not least, as young generation in China. We’d better set our long-term plans meet what society needs.
At present I think only by working hard can our ability be fully embodied. I’ll spare no effort to study hard to achieve my goal.
