文章介绍了西方艺术界对西方艺术从现代运动发展到后现代文化的自我批评，简要揭示其现今的处境及“危机”；以西方当代具代表性的学者的言论为内容，概括列出他们对西方艺术未来的思考；再思孔子乐教论关于艺术与自然、个人道德修养及社会文化的关系，提出了几个可供西方艺术界思考的重点；提出了西方当代美学对孔子乐教在比较及参考方面，应予考虑的几个基本问题；讨论了主要基于孔子本人论乐的美学观点，对西方现当代艺术可能提供的一些参考。
The article introduces the western art circles’ self-criticism of Western art from the development of modern movement to the postmodern culture, briefly reveals its current situation and “crisis.” Based on the remarks of contemporary Western representative scholars, Western thinking of the future of the art; rethink Confucius music teaching on art and nature, personal morality and social culture, put forward several points for the Western art community to think; put forward the western contemporary aesthetics of Confucius in comparison And references, several basic questions should be considered; discussed the aesthetic point of view mainly based on Confucius’ own theory of music, and may provide some reference to western modern art.
