富阳菜是杭州菜的重要体系,亦是浙江菜中的主流。富阳菜选料讲究细、特、鲜、嫩,烹调擅长炒、炸、烩、熘、蒸、烧,务求突出原料本身的味道,炮制出清爽可口的菜肴。富阳的饮食文化历史悠久,许多传统名菜还伴有丰富的人文典故和动人的神话传说,如孙权面筋、客栈神仙鸡等。还有名菜沿用官府秘方,或加以改良,选料、制作精细,味美又富营养价值,富阳农家土菜也是一大特色,看似平常无奇,却味美无比,而且还是正宗的绿色食品。
