This article summarizes the theory of overall priority of visual perception, the theory about the overall priority mechanism and the difficulties it faces. In particular, the authors present a series of research findings on the overall priority of behavior and event-related potentials in recent years. And a theoretical model of compound stimulation based on these results, which is based on the interaction between perceived organization and selective attention.
