武威地区组织文艺下乡,受到农民热烈欢迎,引起很大反响。他们的经验充分说明,文艺必须坚持为社会主义服务、为人民服务的方向。中宣部部长王忍之同志在甘肃视察期间观看了武威地区下乡慰问团演出后给予很高的评价,他说:你们搞文艺下乡,既是继承了好传统,又是在新形势下的一种创造。省委宣传部要总结推广这一经验,要坚持提高。在听取省委关于贯彻四中全会精神和思想政治工作的汇报后再一次强调说:四中全会后,我们前进的方向已经明确了,提倡什么,反对什么也清楚了。我们面临的问题就是如何通过有效的宣传工作,寻找好的形式,使中央的精神为大家所接受。在这方面,甘肃的同志做了大量的工作,也创造了一些好的经验。比如武威运用文艺下乡演出的形式向群众宣传四中全会精神,宣传党的方针政策,效果就很好。这几年,有人反对文艺宣传教育的作用,似乎文艺有了宣传教育就不成其为文艺了。其实不然,武威组织文艺下乡,演了100多场,深受群众欢迎,效果很好。这好比过去的文工团,但比过去的文工团发展了,提高了,带有新时代的新特点。希望坚持下去,不断提高。本文总结了通过文艺演出给农民群众送文化、送政策、送党的关怀的做法和经验。
