近年来,越来越多的教师认识到英语教学的目的是为了培养学生在工作岗位上的语言实际应用能力,适应职业要求的专门用途英语(EnglishforSpecialPurpose)广泛地应用在职业发展中。在这一背景下,注重普通英语教学(EnglishforGeneralPurpose)与专门用途英语教学的衔接,强调培养学生交互能力的教学活动显得尤为重要。本文首先概述交互理论,继而阐述在其指导下EGP与ESP教学衔接的必要性,并积极探索二者衔接的有效途径。
In recent years, more and more teachers have realized that the purpose of English teaching is to cultivate students’ practical ability in language work. Vocational Specialization to adapt to occupational requirements is widely used in career development. In this context, the emphasis is placed on the interface between English for General Purposes and English for Special Purposes, emphasizing the importance of teaching activities that cultivate students’ ability to interact with each other. This article first outlines the theory of interaction, and then elaborates the necessity of the interface between EGP and ESP teaching under its guidance, and actively explores the effective ways of linking the two.
