1987年11月25～29日,中国水利学会水力学专委会及中国水力发电工程学会水工水力学专委会在成都联合召开了全国高速水流学术会议,参加会议的代表及来宾共100多人,四川省科协、四川省水力发电工程学会及四川省水利学会的负责同志到会祝贺。 中国水利学会副理事长林秉南,在会上传达了1987年8月底到9月初在瑞士洛桑召开的国际水力学协会第二十二届大会概况,并介绍了中国水利学会与国际水力学研究协会即将在北京联合举办的“国际高坝水力学讨论会”的筹备情况。 这次会议。共收到论文逾百篇,其中会前收到的96篇已装印成两册约130万字的论文集。大会还以无记名投票方式向“国际高坝水力学讨论会”的组委会推荐了论文。
