萧山越王城山相传是春秋战国时期越王句践屯兵抗吴的一个城堡,唐代以来不断有诗文吟咏,也记载了其上建筑的只言片语。南宋《宝庆会稽续志》、明万历《绍兴府志》、明嘉靖《萧山县志》等历代志书也多有提及。本文从文献证据入手,结合近年考古发现的成果梳理了越王城历史建筑的变迁。
