在铸造生产中采用水玻璃砂常常遇到的问题是清砂困难。为了改善型砂的溃散性往往加入附加物焦炭粉、木屑等,但给铸造工艺上带来一系列的问题。毛主席教导我们说:“外因是变化的条件,内因是变化的根据”。要想彻底解决水玻璃砂的溃散性问题,必须从水玻璃产生粘结强度的机理上来解决。通过多次试验得出,在水玻璃中加入一定数量的亚硫酸盐纸浆废液,即可以改善水玻璃砂的溃散性,又可以保持水玻璃砂的较高的强度。
