由于新农村建设的逐步加快,消防宣传的重要性也逐步显现。通过几年来的“五进”工作,开展农村消防宣传的经验也逐步积累,农村消防宣传工作是实现农村消防工作社会化的前提和基础。近年来,随着农村经济的迅速发展,农村火灾也越来越突出。从近几年的全国火灾统计情况看,农村火灾的起数和直接经济损失数均约占全国火灾总数的1∕3。农村火灾居高不下,不仅扰乱了农民群众的生产、生活秩序,还给农村经济发展和社会稳定造成了一定的影响,也在一定程度上制约着我国全面建设小康社会的整体进程,农村的消防安全工作急需改观。消防安全宣传教育工作就显得尤为突出重要
