(Y0.6Ca0.4) (SrBa) (Cu0.5B0.5) Cu2O7-δ crystals are partially substituted for Y, Ba and Cu by Ca, Sr and B atoms respectively in YBa2Cu3O7-δ superconducting materials. Experiments show that the incorporation of different amounts of B causes the crystal to lose its superconducting properties, while the addition of Ba and Ca resumes superconductivity [1].
