草海国家级自然保护区位于贵州省威宁彝族苗族回族自治县境内。草海是贵州最大的天然淡水湖,也是全国三大淡水湖之一,草海海拔高2171.7米,面积1.2万公顷,主要保护对象为黑颈鹤、丹顶鹤、灰鹤、黄斑苇雉、黑翅长脚鹬和草鹭等鸟类以及高原湿地生态系统。 Caohai National Nature Reserve is located in Weining, Guizhou Miao and Hui Autonomous County.
