On the glaze of Geyao porcelain in the Song Dynasty, the “open flake” appeared on the glaze was an example of the successful application of the accidental effect to the ceramic decoration in the history of Chinese ceramics. It does not coincide with the self-similarities in B. Fractal theory proposed by B.B. Mandelbrot. The connotation of “fractal ” here, that is, the morphological similarities between the parts and the whole, or the parts that are split from the whole, can reflect the main features of the whole. It is from the overall self-similarity To understand the traditional ceramic art contained in the aesthetic characteristics of an angle. The study on the glazed porcelain of Geyao porcelain reveals some of the artistic features of Geyao porcelain, but it also has another indisputable “scientific” interpretation.
