几年来,江苏省以劳养武活动的广泛开展,不仅大大增强了全省民兵工作的活力,促进了国防后备力量建设的加强,而且更好地发挥了民兵在经济建设中的骨干带头作用,对各地的经济开发、扶贫致富、社会公益事业以及拥军优属等工作都作出了积极的贡献。实践证明,以劳养武活动之所以有生命力,从根本上讲,是因为这项工作生动地体现了新时期民兵工作既服从服务于国家经济建设大局,又积极适应国防现代化建设需要的指导 Over the past few years, the extensive implementation of labor-saving activities in Jiangsu Province has not only greatly enhanced the vitality of the militia work throughout the province, promoted the building of national defense reserve forces, but also played a more important role in the militia’s leading role in economic construction. We have made positive contributions to economic development, poverty alleviation and enrichment, social welfare undertakings and supporters of the military. Practice has proved that the reason why the activity of relying on labor and supporting the army has vitality is fundamentally because this work vividly embodies the guidance that the new era’s militia work obeys the needs of serving the overall national economic construction and of adapting itself to the needs of national defense modernization
