1947年巴比特创作《三首钢琴作品》,是其“整体序列主义”作品的首个实例。他用数学领域集合论方法,在勋伯格“古典”十二音体系的基础上,将音高、节奏、力度等重要参数进行严密逻辑化的数理性控制,形成“整体序列音乐”。文章从原始音列的设计、音高组织特点、音值序列、力度以及曲式结构的对称性几个方面,阐述巴比特如何通过对这些音乐参数的严密设计来有机地控制音响。
Babbitt’s “Three Piano Works” was created in 1947 as the first example of his “Total Sequenceism” work. Based on the theory of set theory in mathematics field, he rigorously and rationally controls important parameters such as pitch, rhythm and velocity on the basis of the Schoenberg “classical ” twelve-tone system and forms a “whole sequence music ”. This paper describes how Babbitt can control the sound organically through the rigorous design of these music parameters, from the aspects of the design of original soundtracks, the organization of pitch, the sequence of sound value, the intensity and the symmetry of music structure.
