Objective To investigate the correlation between triglyceride (TG), cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein (HDL-C) and low density lipoprotein (LDL-C) in different phenotypes of hyperlipidemia. Methods A total of 1 471 physical examination population in Nanchang City of Jiangxi Province were selected to test the relevant indexes of blood lipids. SPSS 15.0 statistical software was used to analyze the correlation. Results There was a positive correlation between TC and TG in patients with normal and absolute hyperlipidemia (r> 0.38). TC and HDL-C were positively correlated only in high-TG group (r> 0.43). TC and LDL- , Marginal elevation, absolute high TC, absolute high LDL-C group was positively correlated. TG and LDL-C were positively correlated with normal group (r = 0.31), but negatively correlated with hyperlipidemia with elevated TC (r≥0.60); TG and HDL-C were significantly higher than those with borderline hypertriglyceridemia Positive correlation, but negative correlation in other groups. HDL-C was negatively correlated with LDL-C in normal and marginal mixed hyperlipidemia group (r≥0.20), but positively correlated with absolute hyperlipidemia and mixed hyperlipidemia group (r≥0.31) . Conclusion There is a significant difference between the two groups in the normal and different phenotypes of hyperlipidemia.
